Romancing the Sun Kings
Messy Love on Mango Lane Series
Kade Maverick was carrying a burden around. After his father left when he was young, he became the man of the house. So when asked to take care of his niece for a while, he finds it’s a burden he enjoys. His business is going great, and if he could get his mom to see him as worthwhile, life would be good.
Loved this story! Some teary moments but so good. Looking forward to more in this series.
Zane Albright has loved running the lifeguard program for
the past eight years in Sarabella after his mentor, Theo Stringer, handed him
the reins and became mayor. In fact, after the girl he loved left town, he
threw all he had into it. And now she’s back, and Theo wants to use Callie’s
youth program on their beach. He has to work as a team with the woman who broke
his heart.
Callie Monroe was ready to leave LA and come back to
Sarabella. Back to what she hoped could be a second chance with Zane. If Callie
was lucky, maybe they could at least rebuild their friendship. She’d had to
leave back then. She has to get Zane to forgive her. As they learn to work as a
team and things are looking up… Callie’s time in Hollywood catches up to her
and brings all kinds of twists along.
It is an enjoyable series with endearing characters and
exciting storylines that kept me turning the pages on both the first story and
this one. I’m looking forward to more stories in this series.
Dominic Collins is at a pause in his career right now. Thankfully, Uncle Bill lets him run The Turtle Tide while he’s in Arizona because Grandma broke her hip. His uncle has given him free rein on the menu. This is only a temporary stop; he keeps reminding himself when he meets Madison.
It’s a short story that is so complete. I laughed. I cried. I loved the story and characters.
Nick Lawless is a career lifeguard. Nick’s future is unsure
after a boating accident that tore his shoulder up a few months back. He loves
his job: Saving lives and protecting the people who visit the beach in their
small town. When his best friend’s sister, a physical therapist, says she can
get him back in the water, he’s unsure. For one thing, little Hannah has grown
into a beautiful woman, and being Graham’s sister…she’s off-limits. On the
other hand, he needs help.
Hannah McCarthy has had a crush on Nick since she was
eighteen. Her brothers, Graham and Liam, warned her he’s a player. Stay away.
She has experienced a player and had no plans to date another. And yet, as she
gets to know Nick, she’s not sure he’s all people think he is.
I’ve enjoyed all the stories on Mango Lane, and this one
adds to the series. Already looking forward to the next book.

The Pineapple Club Series
Book 1: The Friendly Disaster
Calen Cooper and Emma Price were best friends. He was her
best guy friend, and Sheridan was her best female friend. Calen had a crush on
her back in high school, but he’d outgrown that. Or so he thought.
Emma Price wanted to find that perfect guy to marry. Yet,
she never made it past a few weeks of dating before something happened to break
them up until now. Manny was the guy. He was perfect.
Sometimes people go searching for something that’s right in
front of them. I enjoyed this story. If you cry easily, keep tissues handy.

Writing as Neena Roth
Jerad Nebal had walked away from Nikki five years ago. And it wasn’t a good parting. In fact, it was terrible. He had falsely accused her of something and left. And now, he’s a different person. God is now in control of his life. He knows he’s lost all chance with Nikki, but he has terrible news that he’d rather deliver in person.
Nichole “Nikki” Strauss should feel something more for Soren, the man who asked her to marry him. But the black-haired, green-eyed man from five years ago hasn’t vacated her heart yet. And suddenly, after five years, here he is. And questioning her relationship with Soren...and criticizing Soren’s business. He lost that right. Yet, his news has her packing her bags to travel with him to India.
What a page-turner! I loved this story. Human struggles come into play...strongly...even though they Christians, which is real-life for all Christians. This is the first book I’ve read by this author, and I highly recommend it.
