Tulsa Town Romances
Quinn Alexander is an artist. She can paint the storms, but
now she has to live through one. A storm where she’s lost her anchor. As she’s
lost inside a storm pulling her into a black hole, she finally goes to grief
counseling for help. Can she open up enough to allow those in the group to help
and support her?
Nick James has been in counseling and does his best to help
others open up. To heal. He’s on his way to healing, but it’s a long road. So
when he feels the push to approach the new group member, he doesn’t want to.
And yet, she needs a friend. And the truth is, so does he.
I’ve never been through the sorrow these two were, but the
author seems to catch the emotions—the fears—of going from one day to the next
alone. And the greater fear of allowing love in and taking a chance at pain
once more. I can’t wait to read more in this series.
**Tissue alert
Heather McClure had been so hurt when Josh sent her away. She left and took her secret with her. She’s back in Oklahoma after things went badly in New York. Home. And she had to face Josh and tell him all. Will she meet the monster he’d been the last time she encountered him?
They both have a second chance if they put the past behind them and trust God to guide their future. Loved the characters and storyline. You may want tissues handy if you are a crier.
Officer Ryan Stone is attracted to the beautiful nurse. If only he could find more time with her besides the infrequent meetings at the hospital. Ryan gets that chance thanks to Ashley’s friend and co-worker, Natalie. He realizes something is holding Ashley back, but he’s not one to give up easily.
A tissue alert goes on this story if you cry easily. But no worries, joy comes. It is a page-turning series with what could be real-life situations that take a lot of work for these characters to find their happily ever afters.
