Interview with Lily Graison
Name one thing about yourself that would shock readers if they knew.
My 'real name' isn't Lily Graison. Lily is a pseudonym.

When not writing, what hobbies do you enjoy?
I make and wear 1800's period clothing. I'm a member of a local historical group and we do living history events and civil war reenactments and looking the part is a must. Buying period clothing gets expensive so, I've learned to make my own. I've created 'Southern belle' dresses, simple work dresses, mens clothing, ladies undergarments and this past year, ventured into making 'fancy hats.' You can see a few of my fashions on my Pinterest page. http://www.pinterest.com/lilygraison/my-hobby-creating-period-clothing/

When did you start writing?
I started writing in 2002, penning Buffy the Vampire Slayer Fanfiction, until a reader suggested I try original fiction. It was the best suggestion a reader ever gave me. In 2005, Linden Bay Romance bought A Touch of Heaven, my first published book.

What is your favorite genre?
Westerns of course! There's just something about a rugged, hard-working man that just makes him seem a bit more real than a suit-wearing, manicured hands, office worker.

Do you enjoy reading your own stories?
I do…a few years after they're written. After the editing process, and re-reading them nearly 6 times before publication, I don't want to see my stories for a while. *grin*

Do you laugh and cry while writing your books?
Most definitely. I don't plan my stories ahead of time so I'm right there in the moment with my characters. I see and feel what they do so everything that affects them, also touches me to some extent. I'm along for the ride with them, so I feel what they do.

Any advice for those who are just starting out?
It sounds clich√© but just write. And write a lot. Since I penned my first (fanfiction) story back in 2002, I've written 31 novels/novellas/short stories and racked up a total of 1,476,304 words. And that’s just for the stories I actually finished. The only way to become a better writer is to write and the more you write, the better you'll be.

Do you ever forget that the characters are not real?
Oh yes. With every story I forget. I also fall into a weird sort of depression when I finish a story. I have a hard time letting my characters go so…I sulk. LOL I mope around for a few weeks, slowly letting go of them and trying to let a new set of characters in.

Do you read the same types of books you write?
Sometimes. I love to read westerns. It's why I decided to write them, but I also love Highlanders! Bare-chested men in kilts. What's not to love about that?

Book Blurb:
On the run from her ex-lover, jilted by no-show husband and now mistaken for a whore in the Diamond Back saloon, Abigail Thornton doesn't think things can get any worse. That is until a single slap to a man's face starts a barroom brawl that lands her in the last place she expected to be.

Town Marshal Morgan Avery wants nothing wants nothing more than to wash away the trail-dust and sleep for a week, preferably with a soft, willing woman by his side. Instead, he gets Abigail Thornton-all on hundred pounds of her thrust at him seconds before a fist connect with his face. Breaking up the fight takes more effort than he wants to admit and when the last man falls he finds Abigail still standing and not looking the least bit contrite.

Throwing her into the town jail for the night would salve his wounded pride and then he will let her go. Or that was the plan. When morning comes he finds himself oddly reluctant to do so. Miss Thornton is hiding something and he aims to find out what, even if he has to bed her to do so. But will one night in her bed be enough? **Sensual

My Review:
Abigail Thornton is a woman on the run. She ends up in Willow Creek in Montana Territory to marry a man she never met. Only she arrives to find no husband-to-be and in no time at all she causes more trouble than one tiny woman should be capable of. She even ends up in the town jail. What more could possibly go wrong in her life? Plenty!

Marshal Morgan Avery was dirty and tired and just wanted a drink and a visit upstairs, what he got was a small woman thrown into his arms the minute he walked into the saloon followed by a punch in the face. He should have known from that first moment that the little beauty would bring him more trouble….and she did.

I enjoy Lily’s books. She has written three different series; paranormal, contemporary and this historical western showing her diversity as an author. In The Lawman Abigail and Morgan definitely start off on the wrong foot but their story unfolds into a great romance that includes the problem keeping secrets causes among other bumps along the way. This is the first book in a series of four that take place in Willow Creek. The next three books continue with Morgan’s brothers; Colton -The Outlaw, Tristan -The Gambler and finally Holden, who we meet in this book, The Rancher.

Book 2: The Outlaw

Book Blurb:
Sarah Hartford always dreamed of a grand adventure. she just never expected to find it in the arms of an outlaw.

When her father's bank is robbed, Sarah doesn't make the gunslingers' escape easy. Putting her own safety behind those she hopes to protect backfires when she's kidnapped by one of the escaping men. Now her only hope for survival lies with the same arrogant man who laughed at her while staring down the barrel of her gun.

Colton Avery spent months planning the perfect heist, every detail fine tuned and executed with precise timing. Nothing could go wrong. That is until he comes face to face with a determined woman holding a shotgun. She aimed at his head and never flinched when she took a shot at him. He wanted her the moment the smoke cleared and he saw her face.

Robbing the bank, and handling over the gang of notorious outlaws to US Marshals, would be routine and boring. Sarah Hartford made it anything but. Taming the woman who stole his heart the instant he saw her was a challenge he was more than willing to take on. All he has to do now is escape the gang of outlaws he just double-crossed, hideout from an Indian raiding party and elude the town marshal who just happens to be his little hellion's new fiance. Rated: Sensual

My Review:
Sarah Hartford is having quite a bad day. First her father’s bank is robbed while she’s working, she is kidnapped by a dirty smelly outlaw and then kidnapped a second time by a different outlaw, who is rather handsome. What more could happen to her? And where is her almost fiance, William?

Colton Avery is not exactly what he seems to be but living on the edge of danger is what he’s become. Only the danger has caught up to him once again and he has added the responsibility of a woman to care for along with watching his own back. He should just drop her off at the nearest stagecoach office and let her go home….but he isn’t ready to let her go just yet. Maybe never.

Colton isn’t one to settle down and Sarah don’t like having feelings for an outlaw but here they are, together. As they travel across Wyoming towards Montana they encounter adventure, danger and desire. This is the second book in this historical western series, the first is The Lawman, the third book is The Gambler and the fourth book in the series is The Rancher. Lily writes life and personality into her characters along with an exciting storyline.

Book 3: The Gambler
Amazon    Smashwords
Book Blurb:
Emmaline Hunt only had one thing she could call her own. A piece of land that held a secret not even her drunken stepfather knew about. When he gambles it away in a high stakes poker game, Emmaline does the only thing she can. She tries to steal the land deed back.

Tristan Avery has seen his share of bloodshed while sitting at a gaming table and knows its time to lay low when he wins a wad of cash and a piece of land. Especially after his opponent ends up dead at his feet. High tailing it out of town is his only option but things take a drastic turn when he finds a woman in his hotel room trying to rob him blind.

The botched robbery attempt is only the start of his troubles when Tristan finds his new land occupied by the same girl who tried to rob him. When he realizes he’s left her homeless, and killed her stepfather, his conscience forces him to do the right thing. Taking her to his hometown and setting her up with a new life will make up for all he’s taken from her.

But Emmaline has other plans. She wants her land, and Tristan’s money, and she’ll do whatever it takes to get them. All she has to do is convince him she’s there to stay, outwit him, find a way back home and not let a single soul know she has a gold mine bursting at the seems with untapped wealth.

My Review:
Tristan Avery was a gambler and good at it. One night of winning not only money but a deed to some land in Idaho changed his life. Not the money or deed but the the little spitfire that felt he had no right to her land. That her stepfather had no right to gamble it away. What else could he do but take her with him when he decided to go home for awhile. Back to where he hadn’t been for nine years, back to where he was told if he left….don’t return….back to Willow Creek in Montana Territory.

Emmaline Hunt has a secret on her land. When Harold lost it to the gambler she had to get her deed back. Her first attempt failed so when he took pity on her and asked her to go with him to Montana she agreed. She just needed the right moment to get her deed and his money so she could hightail it back to her precious secret. Sounded easy enough, right? Wrong.

Those Avery boys really aren’t the type to settle down but it seems the right woman enters into their lives in the most unexpected ways. I am really enjoying this series. Once Tristan returns to Willow Creek we get to see how Morgan and Abigail are doing, The Lawman and how Colt and Sarah are coming along as well, The Outlaw. The one brother who was married and is now a widowed father hasn’t found that special woman yet and he would like to. No worries….The Rancher will hopefully have Holden finding that special woman to complete him as well.

Book 4: The Rancher
Book Blurb:
Laurel Montgomery wanted a new life, one that didn't include a man. She'd had enough of their pretty lies and broken promises but one night of reckless abandon weeks before taking a job as the new schoolteacher in Willow Creek would come back to haunt her. The man she thought to never see again turns out to be the father of one of her new students. A man so handsome and rugged he takes her breath away. Too bad she's sworn off men forever. If only the stubborn man would take no for an answer.

Holden Avery was love-struck the moment he saw Laurel Montgomery and cursed himself for a fool every waking minute since letting her walk out of his life. When she turns up in Willow Creek he's handed the second chance he didn't think he'd ever get but thoughts of pursuing Laurel are cut short when a stranger shows up in town. A man who claims to be Laurel's husband.

The happily ever after Holden thought to finally have is plagued with obstacles but he sets off to prove he's the man Laurel wants. Convincing her to give him a chance is nearly impossible but he's waited too long to find her to give up now. One way or the other, Laurel Montgomery would be his wife.

My Review:
Holden Avery is the one Avery who actually wanted a wife. His wife died ten years ago and he missed having someone to talk with and to help raise his daughter, Alexandra. One night in Missoula gave him a new hope that there was someone out there for him. Problem was how he’d ever find her again.

Laurel Montgomery was a woman on the run. Her last night of freedom found her in a saloon and meeting a handsome man. She may never forget that night or the man she met. She was about to start a new life as a school teacher and wanted one last reckless night before having to toe the line and live her life as a spinster. Only she found quite a surprise when she had to talk to the parents of one of her unruly students.

The Avery boys found love in the most unexpected places. Poor Holden was the only one who really wanted to find it and when he finds the perfect woman...she's surly, rude and don't want him. The Avery’s are known for their stubbornness and they don’t take no for an answer either. Another exciting book in this historical western from Lily Graison. I love the way she brings all the brothers, their wives and their expanding families back into each additional book.

Book 5: His Brother's Wife
Book Blurb:
When Grace Kingston accepts a wedding proposal through a mail-order bride agency and travels across country to be married, she has no idea her bridegroom is a fourteen-year-old boy. There’s no way she can accept his offer but with depleted funds, and winter coming on, Grace has little choice but to stay. Things go from bad to worse when she meets Jesse’s older brother, Rafe. The attraction is immediate. He’s surly, rude and downright pig-headed but he makes her pulse race with a single glance.

Rafe Samuels thought to teach his brother a lesson by making him take responsibility for his rash behavior but one look at Grace and his plans go up in smoke. She isn’t the dowdy spinster he imagined and having her live in his house and not be able to have her is the worst kind of torment. But putting her out of his mind is impossible.

As winter drags on, Grace finds that living with the two brothers is more burden than pleasure. Jesse still thinks marriage is in the cards, and Rafe is a devilishly handsome distraction she doesn’t need. She can’t decide if he hates her or wants to kiss her. How can she avoid breaking Jess’s heart when it becomes clear that the attraction between her and Rafe is mutual?

My Review:

Rafe Samuels finds out his brother has ordered a mail-order bride. The problem? Jesse is only fourteen and his reasoning for a wife is that more of a young boys thinking than a mans. And the woman that arrives is definitely a beauty for a man, not a boy. Rafe has to remind himself that he has a past that shows love isn’t meant for his life and that this is suppose to be his brother’s future wife.

Grace Kingston left Boston to marry the man she felt she knew through his letters. Only it wasn’t the handsome dark haired man described in the letter that was to be her groom, it was his younger, his much to young, brother. Grace walks the tightrope of not hurting Jesse, while trying to keep herself from falling for his handsome brother, Rafe. She’s not much of an acrobat.

The fifth book in the Willow Creek Series takes you back to revisit some friends from the past, like the Willow Creek townspeople and the Avery brothers and their families. The reader is introduced to some new folks as well, both good and bad. The personalities of the characters and their emotions were well written. A young boy trying to be a man after a traumatic experience, a brother returning home after fleeing ten years earlier and a city girl looking for a new adventure and finding more than she bargained for, all come together in His Brother’s Wife.

Book 6: A Willow Creek Christmas
Book Blurb:
Widowed with two young children, Keri Hilam is desperate to escape her abusive brother in law, going so far as sneaking away in the dead of night in hopes of finding a better life. She never regrets leaving, not even when they find themselves stranded, starving, and alone. Fate brings them to Willow Creek, Montana, where they’re rescued by an unlikely hero, an ex-confederate soldier who seems more monster than man.

The war leaves Noah Lloyd scarred and bitter. When the girl he left behind broke his heart, he turned his back on the life he used to know, and sought refuge in a dusty little town that afforded him the solitude he wanted. Finding a woman and her kids hunkered down in an abandoned line shack in the middle of a blizzard is the last thing he needs. They’re ragged, half starved and vulnerable, and he’s determined to leave the trio in the care of the town marshal.

But the innocence of a child at Christmas breaks through Noah’s hard exterior and Keri’s tender care allows him to see that life may be worth living. All he has to do is let go of his past and let this unlikely family love him.

My Review:
Noah Lloyd is a bit of a recluse. He avoids town as often as possible and the same goes with people. Although those pesky Avery brothers don't know when to leave a man alone, always trying to be friendly. His recluse days end when he finds a mother and two children poaching in an old line shack on his property. Looks like his life will never be the same.

Keri Hilam has hit hard times. Her husband died and when his brother came to help them she thought he was a savior. She was wrong. Taking her children Aaron and Sophie Ann, she escapes. Starving and cold they meet the most surly man ever. Can this bear of a man be a real savior this time?

Once again the reader gets to visit the small Montana Territory town of Willow Creek. If you have read the previous books in this series than you get to visit with old friends once again like the Avery's. And new friends like Noah, a man dragging his past with no hope of a future. Adventure and romance in the Old West along with bad guys and good and always a surprise or two in the mix.

Book 1: The Calling
Rayna Ford is an investigative reporter. She is good at what she does but these days the man she has to see at the crime scenes tears her in half. Garrett Kincaid. She hurts when she sees him and hurts when she don't. After six months he broke things off with her suddenly, if that wasn't bad enough...whenever he sees her he cuts to the quick. And yet she yearns to see him. Mitch, her co-worker, talks her into going up to Wolf's Creek to meet with Malcolm, a man who has been stalking her and driving her crazy to come interview him. After sending pictures and claiming the whole town is werewolves...Mitch and Rayna head out together for the assignment. Into a world that will change their lives forever.

Garrett is a detective and keeps running into Rayna at the crime scenes. Not that he doesn't watch over her anyway. He despises the way he treats her but he needs her to stay away from him, to keep her safe. When he learns she's heading towards his old town he has no choice but to go after her to Wolf's Creek. The very thing he kept hid from her is going to come to light in a very dangerous way.

Jacob the gangly kid who still looks sixteen, Carmen the devious villain who can charm the clothes off any man...or wolf...almost, Caleb the blue haired Alpha, along with Judith, Bryce and a whole pack of folks. There is a bit of gore when fights break out and heads go flying. I enjoyed the story line and you just know another book would be coming to tie up loose ends. The second book in the series is called The Gathering.

Book 2: The Gathering

The first book, The Calling, leaves off with Garrett as the new pack leader and Rayna being infected but not yet shifting. Garrett still feels bad for infecting her as Rayna continues to consider the werewolves monsters and fearing her change. This book is filled with suspense and adventure as Carmen returns wanting her place beside Garrett, Rayna is kidnapped...again...by the Collective group, Garrett's old partner from the police force, Chad Burrows, is brought into the story along with the return of the handsome, yet mysterious, vampire Sabriel.

Wicked: The Complete Series - 4 books in 1
Book 1: Tempt Me Not
Amazon    Smashwords
Book Blurb:
Devin Shaw, front man for the band, Wicked, is forced into seclusion by his manager after his destructive behavior almost destroys the band. Sent to a remote cabin alone isn't Devin's idea of fun, but to save his career, he'll do what it takes.

Holly Baker, escaping the hassles of her big city life, arrives in the mountains of Tennessee and awaits the arrival of her friend, Roxy, to start their two-week vacation. Their plans change drastically when Roxy is called away at the last minute, leaving Holly to fend for herself.

Devina nd Holly's worlds collide when a mix up strands them in the same cabin. Alone with nothing but each other for companionship, how will Holly react when she realizes she's trapped with none other than the hottest lead singer the country has seen in years? Will Devin be able to work with a constant distraction the pretty brunette offers? Or wil the two discover that sometimes temptation is a wicked dessert best served hot. Rated: Sultry

My Review:
Holly Baker has arrived up at a rented cabin in the hills of Tennessee. Nothing but nature around her. Her friend Roxy was suppose to be by her side but she called to say she couldn’t make it, after Holly already arrived. So here she was. Alone. Or so she thought. After returning from a nice rest in the hot springs pool she finds she is no longer alone.

Devin Shaw has had a rough two years. He single handedly messed up things for their band, Wicked. Thanks to his alcohol problems he spent the last year in rehab until his manager, Curt, got him out and to this mountain cabin to be completely alone to work on his music and get himself back together. Good thing Curt didn’t know about the sexy brunette that came with the cabin.

From the get go Holly does all she can do to not fall into Devin’s handsome smile and seducing ways, she knows her heart could get hurt and his wouldn’t. It’s a pretty quick read but not lacking for a story line at all and is definitely on the sexual side. Looking forward to how the next three stories play out.

Book Blurb:
Roxy Carlisle is on a mission. She's been in lust with Luke Harris, lead guitarist for the band Wicked, for two years. Whe her best friend, Holly, hooks up with the bands lead singer, and asks her to tag along to New York with her to meet the band, Roxy couldn't pack her bags fast enough. The chance to meet Luke in person was a dream come true. Even better if her ultimate fantasy of finding herself in his bed were to happen. One way or another, she was determined to have him. That is, if Holly's hair-brained idea of playing hard to get doesn't backfire in her face.

Luke Harris loves women and they love him. All he ever has to do is speak to them and they fall all over themselves to be the lucky lady of the night. That all changes though when a feisty brunette comes barreling into his life and changes all the rules. She's immune to his usual charm, or so it seems, but something in her eyes tells him otherwise.

Has Luke finally met a woman he can't seduce? Can Roxy follow her plan and not give in when Luke sets his sights on her? When sex is all you're after, can you walk away when your heart demands more?  Rated: Sultry.
My Review:

Roxy Carlisle heads to New York with her friend Holly. Holly has found the love of her life in Devin, the front man from the popular band Wicked. And Holly can’t wait to meet Luke Harris the lead guitarist. She has been reading everything about him since they first set foot on stage. When her friend Holly tells her to play hard to get, Roxy thinks she’s crazy. Only it ends up Holly had the right idea.

Luke can have any girl he wants, never been refused. When the beautiful Roxy puts up a fight it intrigues him. He has never had to pursue a woman before and he finds the game to be exciting. By the time he catches her will he be able to let her head back to LA?

The story continues from where book 1, Tempt Me Not, left off. The band is preparing to go on tour and Holly will be going with Devin. In this book it gives us a look at Mick and Christian as well, the other two band members. And of all the groupies, photo shoots and general business the band has to go through when they are off the stage. They are shorter books but full stories. The first two books finished neatly where you aren’t left hanging but you know there’s more to come in the next two books.

Book Blurb:
Christian Palmer, bass player for the band Wicked, isn't yor typical rocker. Much to his band mate's amusement, he's quiet, shy and looks like your average boy next door—but that's all about to change. An encounter with a girl he can't seem to forget calls for drastic measures and with the help of his friends, Christian goes from dud to stud in hopes to wow the girl of his dreams.

Jessi McClure has led a fairy tale life. She has a job she loves, friends she can count on and couldn't want for anything else. Until she meets, and photographs, an unlikely rock star. Running into him again was just dumb luck, but when their paths keep crossing, she can't help but notice the change this shy, gorgeous guy has taken on and is drawn to him even more.

When fate keeps stepping in and hands you something you didn't realize you wanted, do you throw the chance away or hold on with both hands? Will Jessi get more than she bargained for when the man she thought she knew turns out to be so much more? And can Christian hold on to the girl of his dreams when a misunderstanding threatens to tear them apart?  Rated: Sultry

My Review:
Christian Palmer is the bass player in Wicked. Unlike any of his fellow band members, Christian is shy. Just the boy from Kansas making his money playing guitar in a famous rock band. He gets tongue tied around the ladies as well. When he finds a woman he would really like to get to know better...she's gone before he gathers his nerve to really talk to her. Mick takes over on training him in the art of women. Now he just needs another chance crossing of their paths with Jessi McClure.

Jessi remembered the quiet band member when she took did their photo shoot a few months ago in New York. She ran into him at a bar in Chicago and now their paths have crossed once more in Las Vegas. She feels drawn to the hunky shy guy but don’t know if she’s ready to beat a path through the groupies to get to him….but Holly and Roxy make sure she does.

This is my favorite so far. I enjoyed the previous two books but Christian’s character is written in such a way that his shyness just pulls you in and you want to protect him. He’s uniquely different and refreshing. The story also has a bit of drama in it. I like the way Holly and Roxy continue to be part of the story along with the other band members.

Book 4: Sweet Temptation

Book Blurb:
Mick Sheppard, drummer for the band Wicked, has sworn off women after his whirlwind romance with a fan cost him thousands in legal fees and a years worth of gossip in every trash magazine known to man. So, imagine his surprise when he wakes from an alcohol induced haze in Vegas, hung over, and married to a woman he knows next to nothing about.

Faith Weston is your typical good girl. Or so her father thinks. The daughter of a minister, she's lived her life on the straight and narrow. A trip to Sin City brings reality to a screeching halt when she discovers her week of reckless abandon has left her married to a rock star. One of the bad boys her father warned her about.

Will Mick and Faith find a way out of their drunk-induced marriage or will they both discover some things were just meant to be? When love is the last thing you're looking for, how do you turn your back on it when it finally finds you? Rated: Sultry.

My Review:
Mick Sheppard is the drummer for Wicked. He’s the bad boy of bad boys. Tattoo’s and piercings adding to that wicked look. A touch of bitter finishes his total package. He’d been fooled into marrying a gold digging groupie and paid big for it. Out of his pocket and a year full of gracing the trash magazines. He might enjoy women now but that’s as far as it goes. And then he wakes up from a drunken stupor with such a jolt that it scares him straight when he finds himself married once again. Mick struggles to believe his heart instead of the past betrayals but his vision is blurred.

Faith Weston just went to Vegas for a friends wedding. Her friend Jessi knows the hottest band around and Faith is included when Jessi’s invited to their concert and villa. And being the interest of the hot drummer has Faith thinking what happens in Vegas will stay there. Only it turns out that’s not very true at all. Seems it followed her right back to her small Georgia town and she gets to face her father, the Reverend, on her own. Disappointing her family and trying to mend her broken heart weren’t suppose to be in the Vegas 101 deal.

Great ending to this book series. The story has drama, surprises and struggles with no easy answers in sight. I really like how the author brings back the entire band and their women in each story and also picks up right where the last book left off. An enjoyable series with a great story line. Starting in a lone cabin in Tempt Me Not and going into a New York Hotel while they await to begin their tour in Leather and Lace, the next book Jade Butterfly takes them on the road as their tour begins and continues in this book with the tour and a break before heading to Europe. Each of the four band members finding that one special woman who can complete him along the way.

Paige Foster planned the perfect get-together for her best friends from high school in honor of their ten-year class reunion but her plans go up in smoke when an impromptu trip to The Pleasure Dome, an elite club that features the hottest male dancers in the country, ends up on their to-do-list. Forced into going, she complains until she meets Simon—the main attraction.

When Simon looks into the audience before his act and sees familiar faces from his past, he has second thoughts about his performance—until he sees Paige and old memories come flooding back. Knowing she won't recognize him as the shy, awkward boy he used to be, he breaks club rules and pulls her to the stage during his act.

The heat they generate doesn't dim when the lights go down and what should have been a one-night stand turns out to be something more. Will Paige accept Simon when she finds out who he really is or will the secret be the end of their affair?
**This book was previously published and has been rewritten for Alinar Publsihing.

My Review
A Touch of Heaven by Lily Graison
Paige Foster is getting ready for her tenth high school reunion. Five of her friends are flying in and spending a few days with her ahead of time. They haven’t changed much. As they were looking through the yearbook they continued to make jokes about the people they thought were beneath them in school. People like Colin Gregory. Just thinking of him filled Paige with regrets, even all these years later. If only she would have stood up for him against her friends instead of laughing along with them.

Simon works at The Pleasure Dome. One of the hottest new clubs in LA. He is no longer the shy and dorky teenager he once was. Now he’s a hunky dancer that all the women drool over. This night when he looks out before his performance he almost slips back to the past when he sees six familiar faces in the audience. One in particular sets his heart to beating faster. Paige. The girl he loved and maybe still does. Only tonight he will have the courage he didn’t have ten years ago.

A great story of how it’s easier to follow than lead. To stand up against the bullies instead of laughing along with them. And how people don’t always allow others to change but want to hold them to what they once were. These characters came to life, some you felt sorry for and others you wanted to pounce on and tape their mouths shut.

Caitlyn Edwards has been dreaming of a man since she was thirteen. She finally saw his face last night in her dreams, a man with the bluest eyes, ever. Then she sees those eyes in a real living man. Can he somehow be the same?

William Davenport is a rich playboy with no intentions of settling down any time soon, or so he thought before he meets Caitlyn. He begins dreaming of a younger version of her and in a different time. He’s not sure what’s happening, only that he wants Caitlyn for his own.

Like Olivia and Daniel, Caitlyn is struggling to get by and William is rich. And just like Daniel’s, William’s father will also do whatever he thinks is best for his sons life. A beautiful tale of two people in love that have searched to find each other through the ages. And the greed of others who will stop at nothing to destroy that love.

Meredith Gunter was born into a very wealthy family. In fact, she was driving her high priced graduation present when she crashed in the mountains. Her rescuer came in the form of the most handsome man she ever met. Why would such a man choose to live alone in a sparse cabin in the middle of the mountain?

Travis Gregory did have his secrets and little did Meredith know that her father was included in them. Even as much as he hated that man he found that having the beauty, sharp tongue and all, stranded with him alone in his cabin, his feelings for her were far from hatred. What chance is there for a guy with nothing to gain the heart of the spoiled little rich girl?

Another well told and unique Christmas story by Lily Graison. Watching Meredith adjust to the ruggedness of the cabin and no thrills or frills to keep her company. A young woman who didn’t even know how to cook because it was always done for her. And the emotions that come through the story as you see into the heart of a lonely man who feels himself unworthy for someone like Meredith. Written with humor, a touch of adventure and a few emotions that brought tears to this readers eyes. And the old adage of things are not always as they seem.

  1. Lily, you totally cracked me up with your comment about loving to re-read your own book about six years after it's been written. My oldest books were written 3.5-4 years ago and I'm not there just yet, but I think I'm getting close. One of those original books I've read 27 times for editing. I could likely recite it.

Oh, and I TOTALLY agree about a rugged western hero! Yum.

Congrats on having so many of your books in the top 100 westerns!

  2. Lily, I have read all of your books and enjoyed each one. You do an excellent job of writing whether it is paranormal, historical western, or on the road with some Wicked bad boys. You know I'm waiting for your wolves and vampires to start talking to you again, in the meanwhile, I'll enjoy whatever you write.
